Relief materials Distributed among poor and needy families who were affected by covid-19 on 29th April 2020
. World Environment Day was observed by Bodo Evangelical Lutheran Church on 5th June 2020 in different locations
To preserve bio-diversity and to preserve clean environment, BELC Cultivated organic rice, green vegetables and local chickens to encourage our communities in 2020
Assam flood 2020 has made many community people homeless, destroyed their cultivable land, cash crops, fish ponds, village roads, houses etc, and made them vulnerable. By looking at their vulnerability BELC has done intervention through certain programs and assistance in the month of October and they are:
1. Given awareness on danger of chemical farming, benefits of organic farming and trained them to do organic farming and livestock management.
2. Assistance of RCC posts, GCI sheets, Tube well, given to those who were affected by the flood
3. For income generation, piglets were given to women SHG members those who were affected by the floods.
Reverse Migrants were trained on integrated organic farming and livestock management to generate income for their households and for their children’s education on 12th – 14th January 2021
